This is a poster in the Paws Market for a punch card for free coffee, I see it every day when I work and I've always thought it was kind of clever.
It has more of a slab serif font thats a little more modern but still fits with the organic coffee ring. I can't really tell the exact font.
I think the text works well with the over all design, the serifs help make the text a little less modern than a san serif font and make it clean so it works with the coffee stain. But it is still super geometric and so the organic circle stands out.
It inspires me in my work to replace letters when it works well to help enhance an idea.

Inspiration Week 12
“FASHION FONT” BY YVETTE YANG
Paris-based korean designer, Yvette Yang, composes collage elements found from the constantly morphing fashion world and turns them into the alphabet.
She then repeats the collage project, called “Fashion Font”, twice a year for each new fashion season. It’s fun to see if you can pick out the trends from the latest season!
Inspiration
The hand rendered typography on the original layout of San Marcos is looking pretty cool.
